About us

Mitte is on a mission to provide healthy hydration for Every Body. Having created the world’s first smart water system inspired by the natural water cycle, we are driven to reinvent the way water is consumed globally. Our solution allows users to create personalized mineralized water at home, giving them control over their drinking water while minimizing plastic wastage. We are launching in 2020 and our product offer will be extended into an ecosystem covering all user touch-points from home, on-the-go, and at work.

The Role

It’s an exciting time to join Mitte. As we move closer to our launch date, we are looking for a Water Mineralization Working Student to join our team. With your experience, eagerness to learn, and passion for problem-solving, you will be working closely with the water team and external partners to help us take an experimental deep dive into new mineralization and enhancement options to support the development of new Mitte mineral cartridges and other new water products.

Responsibilities

  • Help water team to design and run experiments to prove initial feasibility of new mineralisation and enhancement options
  • Supporting to set up scientific collaborations to provide short and long term support for the research and development
  • Compile and evaluate relevant data and derive solutions from it
  • Supporting to drive several research projects, carrying out sub-projects from planning to completion
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant scientific developments as they relate to our industry and products

Your Profile

  • Education in (Inorganic) Chemistry, Mineralogy, Geochemistry,, or in a related field
  • Experience in collecting, evaluating, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on scientific data
  • Ability to strategize and plan and timelines in line with project plans
  • Self-motivated, hands-on mindset, with a willingness to contribute at all levels
  • Innovative, data-driven, analytical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills eye for detail
  • Fluent in the English language (both written and verbal)

Pluses

  • Experience in experimental design, analytical methods, laboratory instrumentation, and techniques
  • Experience in science/research related to drinking water and wastewater treatment
  • Experience with statistical evaluation
  • Experience with LIMS
