You will mentor our data science team one day a week in our office in Berlin. Your knowledge and experience will help our data scientist to become better and support them in their decision-making process.

Your responsibilities:

• You are a mentor and spearing partner for data science team in context of their daily development tasks
• You are the contact person for questions and support in decision-making processes
• You take the data science team to the next level and help everyone to grow
• Support DS projects and product development:
  • Selection algorithms
  • Development and evaluation of KPIs
  • Introducing new tools
  • Development DS Technology stack
• The job requires one day on site at our office in Berlin

Your skills:

• Wide range of experience and deep understanding of a variety of supervised and un-supervised machine learning algorithms, as well as recommender systems and their applications in production environments
• Good overview of ongoing trends and state of the art machine learning and data-science frameworks and tools
• You have a proven track record in coding and bringing machine learning projects into production using python
• A solid mathematical and statistical foundation
• You have a demonstrable record of excellent analytical skills and ability to adapt to new situations quickly
• A good command in the techniques of machine learning, data mining and maybe even deep learning and their application to real-world problems
• Experience in mentoring junior data science team members
