We are searching for a Senior Backend Developer (m/f/x) (Part Time, 20h) who gets excited about building products in the rising field of social media driven e-commerce and wants to solve problems in a high traffic webshop environment.
Your tasks are:
- Development of new webshop features to support marketing, sales and operational needs
- Setup and development of plugins to extend functionalities of existing webshops
- Development and maintenance of integrations with external providers via APIs
- Ownership and maintenance of codebase
- Test, optimize and troubleshoot features before and after deployment
- Bug identification, tracking and resolution
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Postgresql and JavaScript/jQuery
- 3+ yrs of experience with 1+ years on Shopify
- Knowledge of shopify APIs and GraphQL
- Experience in integrating the CMS / Shopify with external applications via APIs
- Experience of developing custom plugins or apps to extending functionality of CMS is helpful
- Experience of deployment flow in a rapidly scaling, high traffic environment
