Startup OLÉ Miami 2026 Focuses on What Startups Actually Need: Capital, Access and Expansion

Startup OLÉ Miami 2026 lands in Miami with a clear value proposition: help startups and scaleups meet the investors, corporates, institutions and public actors that can help them grow.

The event will take place on April 20 and 21, 2026, at the James L. Knight Center at the Hyatt Regency Miami, at the start of Miami Tech Week. According to the official press release, the third edition is expected to bring together around 1,500 attendees, more than 350 international speakers, around 250 startups and scaleups, and roughly 85 panels.

Startup OLÉ Miami 2026 Puts Growth, Market Entry and Investor Access at the Center

That matters because Startup OLÉ Miami is not trying to be a giant generalist conference. Its role is more specific. It is built as a bridge between Europe, the United States and Latin America, using Miami as the meeting point. The goal is straightforward: create real business opportunities for companies that want funding, customers, strategic partners and a smoother path into new markets.

The partner list shows that clearly. The 2026 edition is supported by organizations including CDTI-INNVIERTE, the Cybersecurity Agency of the Community of Madrid, Miami DDA, the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami, Miami-Dade County, Strive305, The Hub, Mana Tech, Endeavor, Miami Fintech Club, ProChile, ProColombia, FEBICHAM, FIU Business, Kamay Ventures, the French-American Chamber of Commerce, The Lab Miami, the Mexico-United States Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Salamanca.

That is one of the reasons the event stands apart during Tech Week. It brings together startup founders, yes, but also trade bodies, universities, investors, corporates and public institutions. For companies entering a new country or trying to build across regions, that mix can be more useful than a room full of founders talking to each other.

The program follows the same logic. According to the official materials, Startup OLÉ Miami 2026 includes forums on public procurement, investment, international growth, institutions, universities and media, plus a startup fair, pitch competition, reverse pitch sessions, speed-dating meetings and networking activities. In other words, it is designed around access and execution, not just visibility.

As long standing partner, GLOBALS will be once more part of the Startup OLÉ Miami 2026 program. CEO and co-founder Mario Paladini will join the panel “Startup Growth Starts with Story: Marketing & Branding Essentials,” a conversation that fits well with one of the core challenges for early-stage companies: how to turn a good product into a story the market actually understands. Meanwhile, co-founder and COO Nico Ventura will serve on the jury of the pitch competition, contributing to the evaluation of the startups and scaleups presenting during the event.

Winners of the Pitch competition will get to Europe

The pitch competition is one of the event’s strongest elements. According to the official release, startups and scaleups will present to a jury made up of investors and corporate representatives. The top three winners will receive direct access to Startup OLÉ events including Startup OLÉ Salamanca 2026 and Startup OLÉ Marbella 2026, while the top ten finalists will receive event benefits tied to networking, matchmaking and participation.

That is a sensible prize structure. It gives winning companies more than a moment on stage. It gives them access to a broader network and to future opportunities in Europe.

Why Miami is the Perfect Environment

Miami is the right setting for this format. The city has become a practical meeting point for companies moving between North America and Latin America, while also staying attractive to European founders looking for U.S. access. Startup OLÉ Miami fits that reality well. It is not built around hype. It is built around the business side of international expansion.

That is the best way to understand the event.

Startup OLÉ Miami 2026 is not trying to be the loudest event of the week. It is trying to be useful. For founders and scaleups looking for capital, partnerships, institutional access and a real route into new markets, that may be exactly the right approach.
