bonify – a Berlin-based FinTech Startup that enables customers to benefit from their credit scoring and financial data. We give customers free & easy access to their credit score and let them upload additional relevant data. Then we offer tools and personalized recommendations to help optimize our customer’s financial situation.

Founded in 2015 by key executives of McKinsey and Zalando, bonify has received significant funding from international leading VCs, e.g., Mosaic Ventures and Ribbit Capital, and successful entrepreneurs, e.g., Zalando founders and Raisin founders.

Tasks

• Taking ownership by managing challenging and innovative AWS microservice-based architecture
• Be responsible for the ongoing growth and stability of the infrastructure as we continue to add and develop new services
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters
• Automate the infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code
• Contribute to the overall design of new platform features
• Improve and set-up CI/CD Infrastructure (Jenkins, BitBucket, Bitrise )
• Monitor & manage all aspects of system security, performance, storage, incidents, usage, backup and recovery for databases, applications, and infrastructure on AWS
• Following the latest technological trends and apply them in our products

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as Senior DevOps engineer
• At least 2 years of experience in AWS
• Deep expertise with Linux (Ubuntu and/or CoreOS)
• Experience with automated provisioning, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or others
• Experience with version control and CI (Git, Jenkins)
• Deep understanding of servers, networks, and network security
• Self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience working closely with a development team in Agile environment
• English language is a must
