We’re looking for someone to help bring us to the next level and ensure our customers have the best possible experience using Pixsy. We’ve helped 80,000+ photographers in 120+ countries uncover over 300 million uses of their photos online. Each day we monitor over 100 million images for online matches.
Pixsy is looking for a senior full-stack JavaScript developer to join our product team in Berlin. As a JavaScript developer at Pixsy, you will become an ECMAScript scholar. We are advocates of the modern JavaScript ecosystem and enjoy the challenge of putting new tech into practice– there’s no rusty Java, PHP or jQuery code to maintain here! Engineers at Pixsy are encouraged to propose and advocate modern and elegant solutions.
We expect our full-stack developers to be all-round talents that guide the success of their solutions all the way from specification until shipping.
Requirements
- Proficiency with React / Redux and their advanced development patterns
- Proficiency with MongoDB and NodeJS
- Experience working with GraphQL APIs or willingness to learn
- At least 4 years’ experience with JavaScript. Comfortable in ES2017
- Strong in all traits of today’s MERN developer: Git, Docker / Kubernetes, MongoDB, Webpack, React & Redux
- Bonus points for experience developing for any for those platforms: AWS, Salesforce, Meteor, React Native, Distributed Microservices, Serverless FaaS
- Comfortable utilizing the AWS ecosystem to your advantage
- Experience in these are a plus: Elixir & Kafka
- Fluent in English. No German language skills required.
