plus B is a family agency in the heart of Berlin. We are a purely technical agency with five backend developers, three frontenders, two project managers, an assistant and a consultant. We develop web applications, shop systems and tailor-made content management systems with e.g. TYPO3, Shopware or Symfony for clients mostly in the public / administrative sector.
We are growing and looking for a devops / php backend developer to strengthen our team!

What you will be working on:
- making strategic design decisions, often with a high degree of autonomy
- planning, creating and implementing PHP Backends
- planning, creating and implementing REST APIs
- planning, creating and implementing deployment and monitoring solutions
- maintaining a heterogenous server infrastructure
- working closely with your colleagues in small teams
Whom we are looking for:
- a backend developer with 5+ years experience in PHP
- an administrator with experience in developing, maintaining, and continuously improving CI/CD setups
- you can organise yourself and are familiar with tools like Redmine, Confluence, Mattermost and Slack
- you speak English or German fluently C1 level required
- you already live in Berlin or close by ( we cannot take over costs for relocation, sorry)
What technical skills you will need:
- deep knowledge of PHP
- experience with Docker
- deep knowledge of git
- deep knowledge of relational databases
- experience with graph databases like lucene, elasticsearch or Apache Solr
- experience with document databases like CouchDB, MongoDB
- experience with Docker Swarm, Kubernetes
- knowledge of Cloud Platforms like AWS, Google, DigitalOcean
- deep knowledge of unix
- experience with CI/CD pipelines like gitlab
- experience with monitoring solutions like rollbar, sentry, icinga
- experience with reverse proxies like varnish, nginx
