A GLOBAL STORY
Club GLOBALS began with a personal journey — and grew into a global movement. What started as an expat support network has become a vital force in the tech ecosystem, connecting innovators and leaders across continents.
Origins.
The idea for Club GLOBALS was born from the personal story of Mario Paladini, an Argentinian entrepreneur who experienced the challenges of international relocation firsthand. From the USA to Germany, he navigated unfamiliar cultures, rebuilt networks, and discovered how difficult it is to create meaningful connections in a new environment. But Mario’s journey wasn’t just about relocation — it was deeply shaped by his background in the tech industry. With experience at global companies like Oracle, he saw the power of technology to not only transform businesses but also to bridge cultures, industries, and continents. In 2012, Mario founded Club GLOBALS in Berlin, with a bold vision: To use technology and community to accelerate global growth and collaboration.
Evolution into a Tech Movement
What began as a network for expats evolved into a full-fledged Growth Acceleration Club, now headquartered in Barcelona and deeply rooted in Berlin. Club GLOBALS supports founders, scaleups, corporates, investors, and ecosystem builders by offering strategic matchmaking with partners, corporates, and investors; Event platforms like the GLOBALS Tech Festival & GSTF On Tour; Media visibility through GLOBALS News and partner content; Cross-border access to hubs across EMEA, LATAM, the US, and Asia

In 2023, Club GLOBALS entered a new chapter with the addition of Nicolás Ventura as cofounder. Nicolás brought a fresh perspective rooted in ecosystem building, growth strategy, and internationalization. His experience in both startups and experiences has accelerated GLOBALS’ ability to scale and deepen partnerships across new markets.
Together, Mario and Nicolás lead a global team committed to one shared mission: To connect tech ecosystems and empower entrepreneurs to scale — faster, smarter, and globally.

Mario’s signature lensless glasses have become a living symbol of the Club’s journey — each color representing a milestone or phase, like a belt system in martial arts. Today, his green glasses reflect the Club’s focus on sustainable growth, diversity, and innovation with impact.
